Where has the summer gone? Is it really true that school will begin in just a few weeks? I must be living under a rock or something because this summer has escaped me. We were successful (I think and hope) in keeping Little Dude and Butter Bean busy these past two months. They had a lot fun on our mini vacations. Memories were made.
I think I’m too sentimental as a person. I love my little kiddos and as much as I am enjoying watching them grow and learn… I get a little sad knowing with each passing day they grow more independent and need their Mommy just a little bit less.

See what I mean? I’m too sentimental. My Little Dude is headed to Kindergarten in a few weeks and I am torn in all directions.

Man oh man do I understand this post. I am all over the board with the thought of my son starting school. It's not fair that the "early" years are over already. Where did they go? Wasn't I just holding him in my arms and rocking him to sleep? I want a do over!!!!!!
