I’ve been writing a lot lately about the Score Learning centers that tutor children from the ages 4 to 14. So I found it a little surprising when I spoke with my sister-in-law over the weekend and she told me her son was attending one.
My 14-year-old nephew has mild ADHD. He was just diagnosed last year. He has always struggled in school. However his hardest subject has always been reading and writing. My brother and his wife tried to tutor their son on their own last year. It caused a lot of conflict and tension as they found it hard to motivate him and keep him focused.
Although the new school year only started 2 months ago they have seen significant progress in their son’s school work since signing him up with one of Score’s Reading Tutors. I really believe if your child needs extra help it is worth the time and expense. The boast in their self-esteem when they start receiving better grades is worth everything.
