Dreaming of Room Service

So Big Daddy has another business trip scheduled. He’ll leave Sunday evening. We decided to cancel our Sunday plans, as things would be too rushed. At least his trip this coming week is a short one. He’ll be back on Wednesday.

Sometimes (after I have one of those “tough kid days”) I fantasize about taking my own business trip. Time a lone in a hotel room with room service. Hummmm…. sounds heavenly!

Still, who am I kidding? You know I wouldn’t fully relax and enjoy myself. As great as the idea is in theory it wouldn’t pan out that way. I would miss my kids. I would be hoping my dear husband was feeding them something healthy occasionally. You know…all the typical things us moms worry about.

Still it is fun to fantasize.
