I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July.Big Daddy had been out of town but he arrived home the morning of the 4th. The kids were thrilled and I was relieved knowing I wouldn’t have to play single mom again for a while. I don’t know how single moms do it on a daily basis. It isn’t easy.
Together we attended a fun barbecue and later lit some fireworks. The kids ran around and played their little hearts out.
I thought I might get lucky and sleep in today. Silly me. With all the fresh air the kids had and the late night I thought for sure they’d sleep in a little. It didn’t happen. They woke up at 6:00 AM full of energy and wanting to know what we were going to do today.
I wish I had half their energy!
