Pushing Daisies

Am I the only one watching the show "Pushing Daisies"?

I've asked most of my friends and none of them have seen an episode. I'm just curious to hear what other people are thinking about it.

I thought it would be really quirky and fun. It is very different then other shows on TV now a days. I'm just disappointed that I am not enjoying it. I know it received great reviews before it aired. So is it just me? It has such possibilities and promise. I love the actors and the concept. Still, something is missing.

I have been a huge Reality TV fan for years. Sadly, it is losing it's luster. I never got into any of the CSI's or crime shows. They are too graphic for me. I found it all too realistic and it only fed my fears as a mother of two small kids. Yes I know that is sad, but that is me for you.

So I was really looking forward to Pushing Daisies. It was something new and refreshing and different. So is it just me or is it missing something? I'd love to hear what others think of this show. I keep watching it hoping it will grow on me.

I just couldn't even think about watching it. It just seemed too creepy for me. In fact, I've also removed Ghost Whisperer from my DVR schedule because it has gotten way too dark for me.

What I don't get is they elected to put shows like Pushing Daisies and Cavemen but cancel shows like What About Brian and Windfall. It's crazy and really scares me.

The thing is, there are already so many shows in which people have contact with the dead (in spirit form) that the concept of re-animating a corpse is ... well, not exactly compelling. Kind of two-dimensional.

I've been equally disappointed with "Back to You," which surprised me 'cuz I like Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton individually. Together, no chemistry. Shame.

Now, the Monday night lineup on CBS, including the new "Big Bang Theory." I suspect that's where all the good "Frasier" writers went!

I totally agree with Back to You. I wanted for two weeks and then deleted it from my line up. Hugely disappointing and I so wanted to love it. :(
