Okay...I'm sure I'm sounding like a broken record...but I want a working dishwasher!
I've become the dish police that is always on patrol. Are you sure you're thirsty? Where is your glass from this morning? Can't you just eat that out of the bag? Do you really need that bowl?
I'm the worst with my husband as I've installed the "you use it, you wash it" rule with him.
5 days ago our dishwasher broke down. Today (after FINALLY looking at the manual) my husband thought he fixed it.
"How embarrassing would it of been to have paid someone to fix it when all we needed to do was clean the filter", he said with pride.
I was one happy Momma sliding the dirty breakfast dishes into the dishwasher. I added soap and turned it on....
...yeah....it started and all.....
But it didn't take long to realize that it was washing the dishes without the water. I don't know about you, but I feel the water plays an important part!!!
Yeah...
So the repairman is coming tomorrow!

I enjoyed reading your blog, although I am sorry to hear about your friend's marital troubles. I know that has to be devastating to so many people.
Water. Yes! Very important. We just recently had to replace our very old dishwasher because it was hit and miss on whether it would run WITH or WITHOUT water. So not fun!
