Christmas is coming...

Oh my goodness! (does anyone besides me still use this expression???)

Still...

Oh my goodness, Christmas is like two weeks away? Where is the time going? Why am I not done my shopping yet? I almost feel like screaming in sheer panic. So much has been going on lately. It seems the smallest task takes so long.

Yesterday, I thankfully (and finally) mailed out all my Christmas cards. I usually have them out the first or second day of December. I thought I was pretty much done my Christmas shopping shortly after Black Friday. (Gotta love the deals the day after Thanksgiving). However more relatives surprised me this year with a request to shop for them. They will send me money and they want me to buy "something" for the kids. Something being the key word here. They have no idea what to get a 6 year old and a 3 year old child I guess. Heck, I can't blame them. I'm running out of ideas myself. Besides, how many toys do these kids need?? Seriously? Yet, they don't want me to bank their money or purchase clothes. They want my kids to open their gift with excitement.

Gosh, I could ramble on and on...

I do plan on hitting the stores again tomorrow. I want to be done before the weekend. Then I have to turn my attention to baking.

I can't be the only one feeling overwhelmed by the holidays...
